MAH'V—meaning “faded,” “dissolved,” or “vanished” in Persian—reflects the studio's philosophy: the soft dissolving of boundaries between art, space, memory, and emotion.

Founded by two longtime friends, the studio integrates Persian elements—folkloric symbolism, mythological references, ornamental forms, and poetic abstraction—reinterpreted through a modern, internationally refined aesthetic.
Each piece responds uniquely to atmosphere, architecture, emotion, and space, transforming interiors into emotionally resonant environments where art becomes part of the architecture itself: quiet, tactile, symbolic, and deeply atmospheric.
Technique is never fixed. Material follows feeling.

Atelier MAH'V is a collaborative studio founded by Marzie Asaadi and Bahar Kiamoghaddam, two Iranian artists and longtime friends united by a shared visual language rooted in Persian culture, mythology, and poetic symbolism.

Marzie Asaadi
Marzie is an Iranian multimedia artist and designer whose practice explores the relationship between form, philosophy, and material presence. She studied Graphic Design at the University of Tehran, completing both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
Influenced by the philosophy and poetry of Omar Khayyam and the structural beauty of origami, her work reflects a fascination with geometry, impermanence, and the hidden harmony within form, spanning ceramic art, papier-mâché, sculpting, oil and acrylic painting, and mixed-media experimentation.
Persian mythology, folklore, and ornamental motifs frequently appear throughout her works, giving them a timeless, culturally layered identity. Alongside her artistic practice, Marzie works as a digital product designer and lives in Berlin.

Bahar Kiamoghaddam
Bahar is an Iranian visual artist and multimedia creator whose work merges animation, painting, spatial storytelling, and immersive visual techniques into atmospheric artistic experiences. She studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the University of Tehran and Animation at LUCA School of Arts.
Currently pursuing doctoral research focused on feminist storytelling through sculptural and immersive practices, her artistic language is shaped by layered narratives, poetic symbolism, and a deep sensitivity to space and emotion. Drawing on Persian folklore, mythology, and feminine archetypes, she creates visual worlds suspended between memory and dream.
Rather than functioning as decorative objects alone, her artworks introduce mood, silence, and narrative depth into architectural spaces, exploring disappearance, transformation, intimacy, and the unseen emotional histories embedded within environments.
